*** Telework (Within Minnesota or neighboring states) and flexible hours options are available for up to ten (10) days per pay period.*** As an Evaluation Coordinator, you will plan, implement, and report on evaluation and performance management for strategic efforts and priorities across the broader human services system in Minnesota. The position will communicate, inform, and provide guidance and expertise to Department of Human Services’ (DHS) Executive Management, enterprise boards, executive committees, Tribal Nations leaders and County leaders with the overall goal of improving and maintaining accountability and outcomes across Modernization for clients and taxpayers. Responsibilities include but may not be limited to: • Lead and establish goals, objectives, performance measurement and evaluation methodologies, and technical guidance for strategic efforts and priorities to illustrate progress and outcomes. • Provide technical expertise to align evaluation and measurement efforts to the DHS Strategic Plan and related priorities. • Lead the development of evaluation plans focused on person-centered understanding of people served and make broad recommendations to leaders and partners. • Consult with and make recommendations to the deputy commissioners, assistant commissioners, directors, and other senior leaders based on evaluation and analytics results to promote data-driven decision-making. • Collaborate agency-wide and externally with counties, Tribes, other state agencies, and other partners to build and implement a participatory evaluation process and make program and policy recommendations. • Provide technical recommendations internally and externally to facilitate best practice evaluation strategies. • Participate fully in division-wide activities, including equity work, as well as document and create standard templates and processes for their key responsibilities to ensure high quality work.
