As the Licensed Practical Nurse you will assist in providing nursing care, treatment, instruction, and short-term psychiatric care to patients in a hospital level of care setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include: • Complete daily nursing cares including administering and monitoring medications and treatments • Performing basic medical treatments per medical practitioner orders • Provide health information to individual patients • Observe patients and complete assessments • Provide report to Registered Nurses so that assessments, interventions, and follow-up of patient’s well-being is completed and documented. • Interact respectfully with patients while maintaining appropriate boundaries • Complete assigned admission/discharge forms within policy timelines
