Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking an individual to join our DCT Policy Team for an exciting and rewarding opportunity as a Policy Coordinator! This position will coordinate and monitor all on-going policy development, maintenance, implementation, and training activities to ensure compliance with the requirements of all statutes, rules, regulations, and state and agency policies governing treatment and administration. The Policy Coordinator, through policy oversite, will collaborate with quality, legal, and compliance to provide regulatory guidance and facilitate compliance with state and federal rules, regulations, licensing, and accreditation requirements to support the quality of programs in Community Based Services and Outpatient Services (Ambulatory Services) divisions. Primary responsibilities: • Serve as the point-of-control, expert, and reference to ensure the adequacy, rigor, quality, and consistency of policies. • Develop strategies for assuring compliance with Direct Care and Treatment policies. • Identify the need for additional program policies and obtain approval from leadership teams for policies. • Collaborate with Equity Directors to facilitate equity policy analysis through drafting chair and leadership review team equity analysis. • Develop and serve as the site administrator for Policy Manual SharePoint sites. Oversee the organization and publication of policies on SharePoint. • Conduct and coordinate review of published policies and update policies as needed and on a scheduled basis. • Train, support, and monitor policy drafting chairs to ensure regular, timely, and ongoing development, review, and update of DCT policies. • Review existing administrative and program policies for conflict and redundancy with DHS policy and across DCT divisions and programs. • Moderate Policy Committee deliberations and articulate/integrate edits for program approval. Finalize policy drafts for program approval and signature. • Maintain archive policies including developmental history and past editions sufficient to provide timely response to litigation holds, subpoenas, data requests, program staff requests for developmental history information, and backup drafts for Policy Manual SharePoint sites.
