As the Nursing Staff Coordinator you will be assisting the Nursing Administration Officers and Units to coordinate staff scheduling and provide backup clerical support to the Nursing Department. Other responsibilities may include: - Checking our scheduling system daily for shift changes and any other variances from scheduled staff hours. - Filling schedule and other staffing needs with intermittent employees. - Making schedule changes. - Scheduling Float employees to cover nursing units. - Answering phones, directing calls, taking messages and relaying information. - Greeting staff and directing to appropriate area and providing assistance. - Checking schedules/rosters for errors and notifying appropriate personnel for correction. - Providing backup assistance as requested. SCHEDULE: Rotating Shift; 6a-2:30p, 9a-5:30p & 2p-10:30p; every other weekend

Customer Service Skills provide information to clients, including phone calls and walk-in contacts in helpful and courteous manner.
Data Entry Performance create database records and update entries or create and apply the basics of spreadsheets and supply/retrieve information in databases.
Math add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers and decimals, as well as calculate averages.
Spreadsheets develop and modify basic spreadsheets and sort and extract data.
Typing/Keyboarding take meeting minutes; complete a variety of reports, letters and data summaries.
Word Processing develop and modify a variety of correspondence, records and reports; perform mail merges, develop forms and charts.
