As a Behavior Modification Assistant (BMA) you will be responsible for supporting individuals who are in our short- and long-term housing program. These individuals may have intellectual disabilities, mental illness, brain injury, and other emotional, behavioral, medical complexities. In this position you will ensure the people we serve achieve their highest quality of life and personal growth! You will do this by: • Assisting in assessing individual's needs by performing direct care duties • Developing and implementing residential and habilitation support plans with goals and methods. • Evaluating and documenting out-comes, maintaining or modifying the plans and performing related work as required. • Respond therapeutically using de-escalation strategies and positive behavior supports to individuals with challenging behaviors. • Region 10 Crisis • Kasson • Dowtown Kasson, 20 minutes west of Rochester • EASE Level – 4 • Staffing level: 24-hour awake staffing, at least two staff working each shift- dependent on number of individuals living in the home and their needs • Non-identifying description of the individuals, include the following: o 18 years and older= Individuals age can vary o Diagnoses vary due to individuals moving in and out of the home. * Site description narratives are subject to change at any time as individuals residing in the home or program or their level of care required may change.

PLEASE NOTE: Any time an employee bids, voluntarily transfers, or voluntarily demotes to fill a vacancy in an existing MSOCS, any previously approved vacation may be rescinded if any employee already working in the MSOCS has approved leave for any of the days.
