The Forensic Services Security Department is looking for an Assistant Group Supervisor! The Assistant Group Supervisor will provide direction and leadership in the Security Services department. This role will help ensure quality of care in a safe and secure environment. Responsibilities may include: • Supervise Security Services staff • Develop procedures within the Security Services department • Assess qualifications of candidates and hire employees, manage employee performance • Establish service delivery expectations as well as the safety and security of the facility as defined by program policies and procedure
• One (1) year supervisory experience in a therapeutic, residential, or corrective environment; OR • Two (2) years lead work or professional experience in a therapeutic, residential, or corrective environment providing counseling, rehabilitative patient care, or direction of client care programs. OR • Three (3) years paraprofessional experience in a therapeutic, residential or corrective environment providing counseling, rehabilitative patient care, or direction of client care programs. A Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Rehabilitation Therapy, Health Sciences, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field may be substituted for six (6) months of experience OR one (1) year of supervisory experience may be substituted for a maximum of 6 months of experience. OR an equivalent combination of the above.

Those crossing Appointing Authorities may be required to successfully complete a physical assessment form, provide education documentation (high school diploma, GED, college transcript, or college degree) and provide documented proof of freedom from tuberculosis completed within the last year.
